At a glance
A plain-language summary. The numbered clauses below are what legally applies.
- Refer to WeGrowNepal by name freely — in an article, a class, a video or a citation.
- Do not use the logo or name in a way that suggests we endorse or run something we do not.
- The marks are shown with ™, which claims them without asserting a registration.
- Ask before putting the logo on anything you are selling.
1. The marks
- 1.1
WeGrowNepal™ and Lacspace™, together with their logos, wordmarks and associated product names, are trademarks of Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd.
- 1.2
The marks are shown with ™ rather than ®. ™ asserts a claim to a mark; ® asserts a registration specifically, and is used only where a registration exists.
Why this is here
This document previously appeared in the app with ® against both names. Correcting it costs nothing and misstating a registration does not.
2. What you may do without asking
- 2.1
Refer to WeGrowNepal by name when writing, teaching, presenting or reporting about it, including in academic work.
- 2.2
Link to wegrownepal.com, to a note, or to a contributor profile, using the page’s own title as the link text.
- 2.3
Say truthfully that you contribute to WeGrowNepal, or identify Lacspace accurately as a vendor or provider, on a CV, a portfolio or a profile elsewhere.
Why this is here
Contributing here is something people should be able to claim credit for. That is most of the point of putting a name on every note.
3. What needs permission
- 3.1
Using the logo or wordmark on merchandise, packaging, an application, a website or any product offered for sale.
- 3.2
Using the marks in a company name, product name, domain name or social media handle, or registering a domain confusingly similar to one of ours.
- 3.3
Any use implying partnership, sponsorship, accreditation or endorsement by Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd. where none exists.
Why this is here
The harm here is to readers rather than to us: somebody who believes a service is endorsed by the platform their college uses will trust it accordingly.
4. Modifying the marks
Version history
Every change to this document is recorded here, so amendments can be inspected rather than taken on trust.
v1.0 ·
- First published.
- Corrects the ® previously shown against both marks in the app to ™.
