How do I know if a note is any good before opening it?

Four things on the card: the rating and how many people gave it, the view count, the contributor's name, and the subject and level it is filed under.

On the note's own page there is more — how many people downloaded it, when it was shared, the file size and format, the contributor's other notes, and any written reviews.
