What happens if I find a mistake in someone's note?

Say so in the discussion under it. That is genuinely useful — the contributor is notified, they can correct it, and everybody reading afterwards sees the correction.

Report it only if it is something worse than a mistake: plagiarised material, someone else's copyrighted book, or something that should not be on an educational platform at all.
