What is the discussion under a note for?

Asking about the note specifically. If a step is unclear, a formula looks wrong, or you want to know which chapter it covers, that is the place — and the contributor is notified when somebody asks.

It is a better use of a question than a new community post, because the answer stays attached to the note where the next person reading it will find it.
